Co-Owner
With a passion for being outdoors and producing from the land as well as a previous life in mechanical engineering, George, our Master Sugarmaker, is the origin of most of our system innovations and optimizations. In his spare time, George enjoys working on and driving classic cars.
Barb
Sales & Marketing
With deep roots in Vermont, Barb grew up helping out on her uncle’s dairy farm/sugarbush and fell in love with the farming lifestyle. Two years ago, she joined us and adores working side-by-side with her husband George, son, and friends.

Operations Supervisor
A native Vermonter who has a passion for sugaring, George has followed his father’s footsteps with his Mechanical Engineering degree. He loves to work out at the gym and playing ice hockey in his free time.
Kirstin
Marketing
Recently married to George, Kirstin was soon indoctrinated into the family business. With a degree in Communications, she works closely with Barb in marketing and sales. In her spare time, you can find Kirstin with her Bernese Mountain Dog, Willow, who is also a huge fan of maple syrup.
Janet
CFO
Janet lives in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. She has 30 years of experience in management in the consumer products industry. In her spare time she likes to relax at her cottage with her family.
Nico
Continuously Overworked
A native Vermonter, Nico has worked his entire life at Rock Maple. The season is long, but Nico works tirelessly to earn his off-season naps.
